Viva Velo Cycling Club

Welcome to VVCC – the official cycling club of Viva Velo Cycle Tours and Events.  We have great plans for the rest of 2018: interesting rides, opportunities to learn new skills from the pros, great kit, discounts on trips and services and a lot more.  The club ethos is very simple: cycle together, support each other, develop new skills and more than anything else . . . have a great deal of fun. We very much hope you will join us. To join our monthly club rides scroll down to register

Our monthly rides take place usually on the second Saturday of each month and you can sign up for them below.  We aim to have three groups on each ride so there should be something to suit everyone.  We’ll publish details of each ride here and gpx files will be available via the Viva Velo CC page on Strava.

April Club Ride - Surrey loop to Friday Street

For our April Viva Velo CC club ride we're heading out through Surrey, to the picturesque location of The Stephen Langdon on Friday Street next to Mill Pond. We'll have a couple of routes: one around 90 kilometers and the other adding another 25km to that and a few more metres of climbing. We’ll ride out from Richmond Park through Cobham, Okham and towards East and West Clandon. For those doing the longer route an additional loop taking in Newlands corner and Farley Green will add extra distance and ascent. Both routes will stop at the Stephen Langdon for coffee and cake before heading back towards London through Coldharbour and Dorking.

Post ride refreshment will be at the New Inn in Ham. This ride is likely to be very popular with spring now upon us, so we’d ask you to please register below to join the ride asap. When registering please note your group preference (Steady, Medium or Fast).

PLEASE NOTE: As always this ride is free but we do ask you to follow the instructions above and register noting your group preference. This will help us ensure we have enough ride leaders to provide you with an excellent day out in the saddle.
