London to Paris - The 24 Hour Challenge
Cycling London to Paris – between two of Europe’s most iconic capitals – is on most cyclists’ bucket lists. However, to make it just that bit more challenging we have set this classic in the context of a single day’s ride. In total the route sees you travel some 280Km (175 miles) and climb around 2000M (6,500 ft) - all in 24 hours!
Leaving London on a Friday you’ll ride over the Sussex downs and the famous beacon at Ditchling with its breath-taking views, then onwards to Newhaven. After a few short hours rest on the ferry to Dieppe, you continue your journey down the famous Avenue Verte cycle route and on through the French countryside with some gentle undulations before entering the outskirts of Paris. Our final destination, the Eiffel Tower, is then but a few kilometres away. For more details of this challenge check out our online brochure
