And so we turn the page. After 8 years of running cycling trips all over Europe, Viva Velo Cycle Tours is no longer. Instead, Viva Velo’s founder, Dyll Davies, along with an enthusiastic group of former clients has formed a cycling club which specialises in running cycling holidays which can be offered at cost price to its members.
Since it inception in 2016 Viva Velo Cycle Tours has gained a fantastic reputation for organising bespoke cycle trips and tours and “It seemed a waste to throw away all that experience” says Dyll. “ So I thought, why not use it to benefit my most loyal customers in the form of a cycling club.” Since then the idea has blossomed. Welcome to VVCC!

ALPES MARITIMES
JUNE 2027
The Alpes-Maritimes is one of France’s most spectacular cycling destinations, where the Mediterranean coast meets the dramatic foothills of the Alps and this was the second most popular choice. This trip is likely to be a point-to-point tour.

Greece is a fantastic destination for cycling, offering a unique combination of stunning landscapes, rich history and diverse terrain. From quiet coastal roads to challenging mountain routes and traditional villages, there is something for every type of cyclist.
ANDALUSIA
FEBRUARY/MARCH 2027
Our Andalusia camp is based in the stunningly scenic town of Ronda, perched astride its famous canyon. Our four star hotel nestles in the heart of the town and gives access to a multitude of restaurants and bars as well as a variety of cycling in the area.
MOROCCO

Cycling in Morocco offers an unforgettable experience. From the vibrant streets and palm-lined lanes of Marrakech to quiet country roads, Berber villages and dramatic mountain passes, the region combines rich culture with spectacular scenery and varied riding.
slovenia
JUNE 2027
Slovenia was a destination for one of our tours in 2025. The trip proved incredibly popular so we are running it in 2027. We have chosen our base in Bled by the famous lake where there is a multiplicity of shops and restaurants while still giving us access to some great cycling.
SARDINIA

From the mountainous interior to the beaches of the north, Sardinia offers a multiplicity of landscapes and terrains for the cyclist to enjoy. Combine this with the excellent spring and autumn temperatures and you can see why it is attractive as a tour destination.
In addition to the above trips we have been requested to see if we can run our Pyrenean Climbing School again in 2027. Partnering with our long-time friend and associate, Dean Thompson, this is a chance for members to improve their climbing skills. Dean is based in the small village of Bertren a few pedal strokes down the valley from Bagnères-de-Luchon in the heart of some of the most stunning mountain scenery, Dean offers a range of fantastic riding both guided and unguided, organising rides on the basis that you’re with us to enjoy yourself. So, whether you’re in the advanced stages of training for a major event, trying out riding in the high mountains for the first time, or after a mix of relaxed riding and café stops, we will put together a trip for you that ticks all the right boxes.
