Welcome to Viva Velo Cycle tour holidays
Viva Velo is a cycle tour company set up and run by cyclists just like you. We’ve been there and done it. Bought our first proper bike, lied about how much it cost when the family asked, ridden up and down hills for charity and then just for fun. Fallen off and got back on again. As such we think we know better than anyone what you want from a cycling holiday.
And we are different: our bike tours are tailored to your specific needs, because we know a one-size-fits-all approach just won’t work. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, making sure that everyone gets a chance to achieve their goals and stretch themselves. But don’t take our word for it check out the fantastic customer feedback on the this page (scroll down a little if on a mobile) and you will see we deliver what we promise – a cycling trip to remember for all abilities, shapes and sizes. You can place your mouse over the text (or place your finger on it on a mobile) to give you time to read the longer ones.
We hope the following pages will give you a flavour of what we can do for you but we can only do what we do with your input.
When you join a Viva Velo trip you are not going on just another cycling holiday . . . you are joining the ‘Viva Velo club’- making friends who’ll you’ll hopefully meet again and again as you come back for more of what makes Viva Velo special.
So please feel free to get in touch via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 0207 598 9273 or visit our Viva Velo Facebook page. We want to hear from you. Come join the Viva Velo family.

"I thoroughly enjoyed this trip from start to finish every client is looked after as a individual. Transport, luggage, water, food, accommodation, stop areas, cycle transport, collection points had all been well planned and considered. I will highly recommend Viva Velo to anyone 10/10 well done thank you for a memorable adventure."
London to Paris 24 Hour Challenge participant,
""You were all incredibly helpful. . . and the support from the team was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a nicer team to help attempt this challenge with.""
London to Paris 24 Hour Challenge particpant,
"For me, these trips are great value for money because of the stories you get to take away with you. You can be in a group, or an individual rider, and by the time you finish you will leave with more friends than when you started. It can't get much better than that, especially as you get to ride around some of the most beautiful countryside, on a well-organised tour with a passionate team of riders who spend their time being helpful and encouraging. Doesn't get any better than that."
Roy Wood, London to Paris 24 Hour Participant
"I absolutely loved the ride. I honestly think it was one of my favourites. Mostly because of the amazing Viva Velo team who were so encouraging and helpful - such nice people. Also because it was my first time riding as a team and it made me really go for it, which is what I needed! I felt like I could keep going once we got to Oxford! I am ready for Ride London and can't wait for it!"
Becca Parker, Crown to Gown Charity Rider
"I cannot thank you and the Viva Velo team enough for making the SIA Group cycling trip an absolute resounding success. The organisation, attention to detail, patience and support from Matt, Richie and yourself was immense . . . everyone came away absolutely buzzing. One of the best trips I have been on, challenging, fun and very rewarding. The Mallorca trip and Sa Calobra will be an annual event in our client hospitality calendar. The goodwill generated is immense and I am sure that there will be a lot more people keen to join us/you next year as the word spreads around the market. . .Please mark us down for the same time next year. Happy to pay deposit when required."
Paul Craig Managing Director, SIA Group
"I'd rate the trip a 10 [out of 10] without hesitation. It was really great fun . . . It was fabulous training and I look forward to returning with Viva Velo next year."
Melissa Tarver, St Margaret's CC
"Where do I start? Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! Dyll and his team at Viva Velo are the business. In the course of the week with the guys in Mallorca I went from pootling Sunday afternoon rider with an aversion to hills to an epic final day in which we took on Coll de Sa Bataia, Coll dels Reis/Sa Calobra and then Coll de Femenia. I have not stopped smiling since!"
Amy Williams, St Margaret's CC
"Dyll and his team took me from a novice, risk averse and somewhat sceptical cyclist to an enthusiast in a week. Offering the complete package that met the needs of the beginners and experienced riders from our club, Viva Velo made sure we all returned home enthralled, excited and ready for our future cycling adventures. Thanks Dyll."
Paul-Sinton Hewitt, Founder of Park Run and St Margaret's CC member

First time Viva Velo customer, Mallorca camp 2017
"My goal was to have a great week's cycling and meet some personal goals re mountains and all of that was achieved. I came away having achieved things I did not think I could do which is down to the team and the event. It was my first but won't be my last. My personal rating is 10 [out of 10] for the trip."
Camp attendee, Mallorca 2017

Happy client 2017, One-to-One Camp
"I cannot tell you how pleased I have been with the time that you and Jessie have put into helping [my daughter]. It has been a brilliant experience for her which she has thoroughly enjoyed. [My daughter] loved riding with Jessie, and gaining knowledge from her, and she has come home tired but very happy. A welcome day off today, and hopefully back in the saddle tomorrow, re-energised and re-focussed! Far, far better than the one other trip I have organised before for my daughter. Absolutely no complaints, except that I wish I could have afforded to make the trip ten times longer!!! Jessie is fantastic. Dyll was brilliant and I really hope that the company goes from strength to strength. Value for money 9/10"
Mother of cyclist we arranged a one-to-one cycle camp for,
"Dyll - you, Matt and Adam are a grand tour pro-team . . . an exceptional team who each provide a different skill set with excellent knowledge in their specialist area but overall provide really great support. They are also very kind and decent people too who care a lot about the quality of what they provide."
Catherine Whitehead, Avignon Nice 2016
"We had a totally amazing week!! We did more than we thought we could, we went faster, we worked harder and we smashed the mountains of Mallorca setting a high bar for any future visits. We all know that we wouldn't have performed the heroics we did without the guidance of Dyll and his excellent accomplices, Gary and Matt. How inspirational, patient, selfless and amazing were they?? No problem was too big, too small or unimportant to them. Their advice on anything was always precise and delivered with in-depth knowledge. The best feedback we can give them is that we can't wait to go on another adventure with them!"
Sabina Hickmet (Horsham CC),
"Brilliant. I learnt to ride in a group and got an opportunity to ride with lots of people of different abilities and find my comfort zone. Also inspired me to think about how I ride when on my own and to believe I can do more than I thought I could. 10/10"
Joel Perkins, Waitrose
"It was a brilliant experience - thank you to all involved."
Matt Andrews - Horsham CC,
"Dyll helped me so much . . . helped me through difficult situations that I didn't think I would be able to succeed in."
Waitrose rider, 2015
"I just wanted to say a huge thank you for a great 4 days. You both worked incredibly hard and made the experience for all those taking part from Waitrose one of the most enjoyable experiences of their lives. I know that managing a large team of varying abilities and personalities brings with it its own challenges and you managed this brilliantly."
Paula Guanaria, – Senior Community Fundraiser, Beating Bowel Cancer
"[I] would love to do another, totally exceeded my expectations in every way, all down to Viva Velo Dyll, Gary, Matt (Cav) and the great company of each other. Thanks Guys"
Brian Flint - Horsham CC,
"Everything was excellent. Everything was planned out to the finest detail. It was a great pleasure to meet Matt and Dyll, and both were full of useful information throughout the whole trip and beforehand as well. 10 [out of 10]!!!!!!!!!!! Everything was Brilliant!!!!!!! Thank you Matt and Dyll for everything you did."
Mark Wright, Waitrose
"The trip blew all expectations out of the water. Best 4 days of my life. Extremely satisfied is not enough!"
Connor Shaw, - Beating Bowel Cancer rider
"The best part for me - the group was diverse in (hugely) divergent in ability, but it still really felt like a team."
Mallorca training camp attendee, 2015
"It's hard not to give it a 10!"
Nic Griffiths, Mallorca 2015
"A superb week, great company and Mallorca is a super place to ride a bike. Dyll and his team deserve special praise for a job very well done!!"
Phil Lefebvre - Horsham CC,
"I thought the whole experience was excellent. From a purely cycling perspective I enjoyed the elements where we split in to the different abilities groups. I was then able to push myself more. However I also really enjoyed the times when we rode together and also when I supported the riders finding it tougher on the last 2 days. Thanks for a great 4 days!!"
Andy Gibbon, – Beating Bowel cancer rider
"A fantastic value tour for the accommodation and cycling, and your support Dyll and Guy was excellent at all times. Hotel fantastic and food great. Extensions were great and variations on the rides appreciated."
Mallorca Training camp attendee, 2015
"This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I enjoyed being able to have the choice of riding speeds according to my energy levels at the time. . . . I thought both Dyll and Matt were very supportive, patient and really played their part in making the trip the positive experience it was. My experience was 10/10"
Charity ride participant, 2015
"I have never done similar before but loved it. I think most things were spot on or close enough to spot on. The standout part for me was the group you created. Getting on together, learning to do the train, all the camaraderie, the occasional beer - that made what would have been a good cycling camp into something great."
Paul Harrison, RBCC
"Without a doubt, the trip exceeded my expectations. Having cycled before, individually, I could not understand the need for recruited help to pace a group of people that would cycle a journey like this. After about an hour, I totally understood what the guys were all about, and making sure that everyone was safe, while making the journey enjoyable . . . 10 out of 10, no questions asked."
Roy Wood, - charity rider
"Level of route information was great. . . Helpful advice via email whenever required. Prompt replies. Training plans made a lot of sense."
Andrew Downie, – charity rider 2015
"Itinerary was very detailed and included everything needed. Briefings were clear and I knew at all times what we were doing and what the options were for rides, extensions and what everyone else was up to."
Leon Parks, RBCC
